- 18 ounces cake mix
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2 12 cups oats
- 12 cup nuts
- 16 -20 ounces jam, jelly, preserves, pie filling
- Preheat to 375.
- Mix cake mix, butter, oats and nuts.
- Press 3/4 of oat mixture in 9 x 13 pan.
- Spread fruit on oat mixture.
- Sprinkle remaining oat mixture on top of fruit.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cut into bars -- serve plain, topped with ice cream, dairy whip or whatever -- .
