Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. bacon fat
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. water
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen spinach
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Heat fat in large skillet.
- Add onion and cook until tender. Add flour.
- Cook and stir until mixture begins to thicken.
- Add water and mix until smooth.
- Add spinach.
- Cover and cook about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally as spinach thaws.
- Season with salt and pepper.
