Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. ginger
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. shortening
- 2/3 c. molasses
- 2 tsp. salt
- 5 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and molasses. Stir in dry ingredients. Chill for an hour. Roll into small balls.
- Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Makes about 9 dozen.
