Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 Tbsp. long grain rice
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 soup can water
- 3 c. coarsely chopped or shredded cabbage
Method
- Lightly brown ground beef in oil.
- Mix in onion, salt, pepper and rice.
- Cook 2 to 3 minutes longer.
- Add soup and water; mix well.
- Remove from heat.
- Spoon cabbage into 2-quart greased casserole dish.
- Pour meat mixture over cabbage to completely cover cabbage.
- Do not stir.
- Cover and bake at 325° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
