Ingredients

  • 8 ears corn, cooked
  • 1 c. whipping cream
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. m.s.g.
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour

Method

  • Cut corn from cob and place in saucepan with whipping cream. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
  • Stir in salt, sugar and m.s.g.
  • Melt butter in a small pan and stir in flour; do not brown.
  • Stir butter and flour mixture into corn and cook until slightly thickened.
  • Turn corn into ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan and dot with butter.
  • Brown under browning unit.
