Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 small can chili powder
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can drained red kidney beans
  • 1 can hot chili beans
  • 2 large bags shredded Cheddar cheese
  • diced onions to taste

Method

  • Brown hamburger meat in skillet and drain well.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste, onions, chili powder and tomato sauce.
  • Let simmer.
  • Mash both cans of beans in blender until smooth and add to mixture.
  • Pour into Pyrex dish and top with cheese.
  • Bake in oven at 350° for 20 minutes or bake in microwave for about 5 minutes.
