- 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
- 14 cup cold water
- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon ground oregano
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 12 cup fine dry breadcrumb
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 14 cup onion, chopped
- 14 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1 egg
- 14 cup milk
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
Method
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms, geat vigorously for 20 strokes.
- Gently smooth dough into ball on floured surface.
- Knead 5 times.
- Roll dough 2 inches larger than inverted pie pan.
- Ease into pan, flute edge.
- Cook and stir gorund beef until brown; drain.
- Stir in salt, oregano, pepper, bread crumbs, tomato sauce, onion an dgreen peper.
- Spread into pie crust.
- Beat egg and milk.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Spread over beef mixture.
- Bake until crust is golden, about 30minutes.
