Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 14 cup cold water
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon ground oregano
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 cup fine dry breadcrumb
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 14 cup onion, chopped
  • 14 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 14 cup milk
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Method

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms, geat vigorously for 20 strokes.
  • Gently smooth dough into ball on floured surface.
  • Knead 5 times.
  • Roll dough 2 inches larger than inverted pie pan.
  • Ease into pan, flute edge.
  • Cook and stir gorund beef until brown; drain.
  • Stir in salt, oregano, pepper, bread crumbs, tomato sauce, onion an dgreen peper.
  • Spread into pie crust.
  • Beat egg and milk.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Spread over beef mixture.
  • Bake until crust is golden, about 30minutes.
