Ingredients

  • 2 pie shells
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (10 oz.) carton frozen strawberries
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
  • 1 large carton Cool Whip
  • 4 large bananas
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Bake pie shells.
  • Cool.
  • Cube 1 banana into each pie shell; set aside.
  • In 2-quart saucepan, combine sugar, flour and pineapple; stir until thick.
  • Add jello and stir until dissolved. Add frozen strawberries; stir until well mixed.
  • Cube remaining 2 bananas into mixture and add pecans.
  • Mix well and pour in shells. Refrigerate for about 2 hours.
  • Top with Cool Whip.
