Ingredients

  • 2 (3/4 lb) pork tenderloin
  • 14 cup honey
  • 14 cup oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh gingerroot
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon catsup
  • 14 teaspoon onion powder
  • 14 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 14 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • fresh parsley sprig (optional)

Method

  • Place tenderloins in an 11x7x1 1/2 inch baking dish.
  • Combine honey and next 9 ingredients, stirring well and pour over tenderloins.
  • Cover and marniate in refrigerator 8 hours, turning occasionally.
  • Remove tenderloins from marinade, reserving marinade.
  • Grill tenderloins over medium-hot coals 25 to 30 minutes, turning often and basting with reserved marinade.
  • Pork is done when meat thermometer inserted into thickest portion registers 160 degrees.
  • To serve, slice tenderloins thinly, and arrange on a serving platter.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
