Ingredients

  • 2 c. cooked and cubed chicken breasts
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. grated onion
  • grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. angel hair pasta, cooked
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • Durkee onion rings

Method

  • Mix all ingredients except cheese and onion rings.
  • Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
  • Sprinkle over top grated cheese and onion rings.
  • Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour.
  • Can be prepared the day before. Add cheese and onion rings just before baking.
  • Serves 6 to 8.
