Ingredients
- 5 lb. rump roast
- 2 Tbsp. sweet basil
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 to 2 bay leaves
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. oregano powder
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 6 to 8 garlic buds
Method
- Heat oven to 325°.
- Combine all ingredients in Dutch oven and roast, covered, for 3 to 4 hours.
- Baste frequently until cooked through.
