Ingredients

  • FOR THE DRESSING:
  • 1 whole Egg Yolk
  • 1 Tablespoon Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons Dry Mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoons Sugar (honey Works Too!)
  • 1/3 cups Red Wine Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup Olive Oil

  • FOR THE SALAD:
  • 1 head Romaine Lettuce, Chopped
  • 1-2/3 cup Diced Cooked Chicken
  • 4 whole Roma Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 5 ounces, weight Dry Salami, Chopped
  • 3/4 cups Grated Mozzarella
  • 1/2 cups Grated Provolone
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Garbanzo Beans, Rinsed And Drained
  • 1/3 cups Fresh Basil, Chopped
  • 1 bunch Green Onion, Chopped

Method

  • Whisk the dressing ingredients together.
  • In a large bowl, toss the salad ingredients together with 1 cup of the Italian dressing you made. Add more dressing as needed.
