Ingredients
- 2 c. squash
- 2 eggs, beaten
- cheese (hoop type) to liking
- small amount of butter
- 1 small onion
- 2 slices bread
Method
- Boil squash and chopped onion.
- Drain and return to pan.
- Add eggs and butter.
- Layer squash with cheese (2 layers of each, use plenty of cheese).
- Crumble bread on top and pat with butter. Bake at 450° until brown on top.
