Ingredients
- 1 pkg. (2-layer size) French vanilla cake mix
- 1 cup BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 1 can (16 oz.) ready-to-spread vanilla frosting, divided
- 6 to 8 drops green food coloring
- 24 Spring OREO Cookies, cut in half
- 48 ring-shaped chewy fruit snacks
- 48 JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
Method
- Prepare cake batter as directed on package; stir in chocolate morsels.
- Spoon into 24 paper-lined muffin cups.
- Bake as directed on package.
- Cool completely on wire rack.
- Remove 1/4 cup frosting; set aside for later use.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to the remaining frosting; stir until well blended.
- Gradually stir in additional food coloring until frosting is desired shade.
- Spread evenly onto cupcakes.
- Stand 2 cookie halves on top of each cupcake for the "frog's eyes."
- Attach marshmallows to fruit snacks with some of the reserved frosting, then attach to the frogs with remaining frosting to resemble buggy eyes.
