Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (2-layer size) French vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
  • 1 can (16 oz.) ready-to-spread vanilla frosting, divided
  • 6 to 8 drops green food coloring
  • 24 Spring OREO Cookies, cut in half
  • 48 ring-shaped chewy fruit snacks
  • 48 JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows

Method

  • Prepare cake batter as directed on package; stir in chocolate morsels.
  • Spoon into 24 paper-lined muffin cups.
  • Bake as directed on package.
  • Cool completely on wire rack.
  • Remove 1/4 cup frosting; set aside for later use.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring to the remaining frosting; stir until well blended.
  • Gradually stir in additional food coloring until frosting is desired shade.
  • Spread evenly onto cupcakes.
  • Stand 2 cookie halves on top of each cupcake for the "frog's eyes."
  • Attach marshmallows to fruit snacks with some of the reserved frosting, then attach to the frogs with remaining frosting to resemble buggy eyes.
