Ingredients
- 1 box lemon cake mix (not pudding in mix)
- 1 stick margarine, softened
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 c. pecan pieces
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 box confectioners sugar
Method
- Mix the first 3 ingredients together.
- Spread in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Sprinkle the pecan pieces over mixture in pan.
- Beat the cream cheese, eggs and confectioners sugar with mixer until creamy.
- Pour over dough in pan.
- Bake in a 325° preheated oven until brown, approximately 30 minutes.
- Do not overbake.
