Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 14 cup lime juice
  • 14 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons parsley
  • 1 12 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 12 cup chopped red onion
  • 12 cup julienned red bell pepper
  • 12 cup diced mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 6 white pita bread
  • 18 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hickory barbecue sauce
  • 12 orange, juice of
  • 18 cup lime juice
  • 18 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Method

  • Cook chicken breasts in lemon juice, lime juice, water, garlic powder, parsley, and ground pepper.
  • Cube into bite sized pieces.
  • Sprinkle six pitas with cubed chicken, red onions, red bell peppers, diced cheese, and cilantro.
  • Broil until cheese begins to melt (about 5 minutes).
  • Combine soy sauce, barbeque sauce, orange juice, lime juice, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, and cornstarch until well blended.
  • Set aside.
  • Drizzle pitas with sauce.
