Ingredients
- 2/3 c. raw macaroni
- 1/2 lb. medium sharp cheese
- 2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 Tbsp. flour, slightly heaped
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Cook macaroni in 4 cups boiling salted water.
- Stir often to prevent sticking.
- When tender, add cheese and margarine to drained macaroni.
- Beat eggs well; add milk and flour, using a wire whisk to dissolve lumps.
- Put macaroni mixture in a greased casserole dish.
- Pour milk and egg mixture over macaroni.
- Bake at 400° until "set" and slightly browned on top.
