Ingredients
- 4 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 3 c. milk
- 16 oz. Velveeta cheese
- 2 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
Method
- Boil noodles according to package; drain and pour into casserole dish.
- Melt butter; add flour and mix well.
- Add milk and mix over low to medium heat until thick and bubbly.
- Add cheese and continue to heat until all cheese is melted.
- Must stir constantly as mixture burns easily.
- Salt and pepper to taste. Pour cheese mixture over noodles and bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes until brown.
- For a spicier flavor, use Mexican Velveeta.
