Ingredients
- 1 pkg. mincemeat
- 1 1/2 c. water or 3/4 c. water, 1/2 c. rum, 1/4 c. brandy
- 1 to 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 2 c. mixed candied fruit
- 1 c. chopped dates (optional)
Method
- Break mincemeat into medium saucepan; add water or rum mixture; boil 1 minute.
- Put in large bowl; add fruit, walnuts, dates, Eagle Brand milk and eggs.
- Mix well, then add flour and soda.
- Mix well.
