Ingredients

  • 3 lb. chicken wings
  • 1/3 c. soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp. monosodium glutamate
  • dash of pepper

Method

  • Separate chicken wings into 3 pieces.
  • Discard tips.
  • Marinate wings in ingredients that have been heated until the sugars dissolve.
  • Cool.
  • Add wings and marinate 24 hours.
  • Remove wings from marinade.
  • Place in 9 x 13-inch pan and bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 350°.
  • Brush occasionally with marinade.
