Ingredients

  • 1 (1 to 1 1/2 inch thick) chuck steak, or possibly roast is fine too (approximately 3 lbs.)
  • 3/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. white vinegar
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 teaspoon grnd ginger

Method

  • Mix marinade.
  • Marinate meat (covered) in the refrigerator at least 8 hrs, turning occasionally.
  • Grill over coals, basting occasionally (being careful not to burn the meat) till desired doneness.
  • You may then use the marinade as a dipping sauce but be sure to heat it to boiling first.
