Ingredients

  • 1 Fresh Tuna Steak
  • 5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 half of an orange zest
  • 1 the juice of an orange
  • 1 half the juice of a lemon
  • 5 dash Soya Sauce (to taste)
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Method

  • Mix marinade ingredients into a plastic bag or bowl, and cover, for 3-6 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Add a drizzle of extra Virgin Olive oil to a non stick frying pan or griddle pan, just enough so that the steak won't stick.
  • Heat the pan to a medium heat so that the Tuna steak is nicely seared on the outside and pink (to your liking) on the inside.
  • The Tuna Steaks must be very fresh for this dish, but bare in mind that the citrus slightly cooks the tuna whilst marinating.
  • Cook for a few 2-3 minutes each side (this should be rare, but will depend on the thickness of your steak)
  • Slice Tuna to gauge how well done you like it.
  • Serve and pour some of the marinade over the tuna.
  • Yummy!
