Ingredients
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (17 oz.) can drained small green peas
- 1 (12 oz.) can drained Shoe Peg corn
- 1 (15 oz.) can drained French-style string beans
- 1 (2 oz.) jar drained pimento (optional)
- 1 c. chopped celery (optional)
- 1 c. chopped onion (optional)
Method
- Combine first 5 ingredients in small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
- Let cool completely.
- Combine the remaining ingredients; toss lightly.
- Pour marinade over vegetables.
- Stir gently.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
