Ingredients
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 3/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 (28 oz.) jar mincemeat
Method
- In a large bowl, beat eggs.
- Combine sugar, flour and salt; gradually stir into eggs.
- Add butter, walnuts and mincemeat; mix well.
- Pour into pastry shell.
- Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325°; bake 50 minutes longer, or until filling is slightly puffed and firm.
- Refrigerate any leftovers.
