Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts or equal parts (legs, thighs, etc.)
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt or 1 clove fresh minced garlic
- 1/4 c. water
Method
- Wash chicken and pat dry.
- In electric or regular frying pan, combine all ingredients, then add chicken.
- Cook, uncovered, over medium heat, turning to brown evenly.
- Cook for 35 to 40 minutes, or until tender.
- Remove to platter.
- Skim off oil.
- Add a little water and stir to loosen brownings.
- Pour sauce over chicken and serve.
