Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. confectioners sugar
- 2 sticks butter or margarine (room temperature)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Method
- Put all ingredients except pie filling in mixing bowl.
- Beat with electric mixer on slow until mixed, then beat on high until light and fluffy.
- Put half the batter in a 9 x 13-inch greased cake pan.
- Spread pie filling on top of batter. Take rest of batter and spoon on lattice fashion.
- Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
