Ingredients

  • 4 c. wheat flour
  • 2 c. plain flour (approximately)
  • 2 tbsp. yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1/4 c. sugar

Method

  • In a hot container, dissolve 2 Tbsp.
  • yeast and 1 Tbsp.
  • sugar in 1/2 c. hot water.
  • Let stand 10 min in a hot place.
  • Then to this, add in 2 c. hot water, 1/4 c. sugar, 1/4 c. oil, 1 tsp.
  • salt, and 4 c. wheat flour.
  • Mix well.
  • Then add in sufficient plain white flour to be able to knead easily.
  • Knead for 10 min.
  • Let the dough rest 10 min.
  • Place in bread pans or possibly form round for buns.
  • Let rise till doubled in size.
  • This will take about 1 hour.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 min.
