Ingredients
- 1 loaf French or Italian bread, cut into 1-inch slices
- 3 eggs
- 3 c. milk
- 4 tsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Method
- Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Arrange the bread in the pan. Beat together the eggs, milk, sugar, salt and vanilla.
- Pour over the bread evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
