Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 sticks butter or margarine, soft
- 2 Tbsp. lard or shortening
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. evaporated milk
Method
- Beat eggs for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, butter, shortening and vanilla.
- Cream all together.
- Add flour and milk and beat until smooth.
- Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes or until when toothpick is stuck in center comes out clean.
