- 2 lb. ground round
- 46 oz. tomato juice
- 30 oz. kidney beans, drained
- 15 oz. tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Method
- Brown ground round; drain and rinse with hot tap water.
- In large pan or crock-pot, combine ground round and the rest of the ingredients.
- Simmer on stove top for 3 hours, covered, or cook in crock-pot on low for 10 to 12 hours, or on high for 5 to 6 hours.
