Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. warm water
- 3/4 c. margarine, melted
- 2 c. warm milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 c. sifted flour
Method
- Combine yeast, sugar and warm water and dissolve.
- Add melted margarine, milk, egg, salt and part of flour.
- Mix until smooth and add rest of flour.
- Cover mixture and refrigerate overnight.
- Roll or pat out dough to about 1/2-inch thick on a lightly floured board.
- Cut out with round cutter or shape into 1 1/2-inch balls. Place close together on greased pan (muffin pan).
- Let stand in greased pan about 3 hours or until doubled.
- Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
