Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. warm water
  • 3/4 c. margarine, melted
  • 2 c. warm milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 6 c. sifted flour

Method

  • Combine yeast, sugar and warm water and dissolve.
  • Add melted margarine, milk, egg, salt and part of flour.
  • Mix until smooth and add rest of flour.
  • Cover mixture and refrigerate overnight.
  • Roll or pat out dough to about 1/2-inch thick on a lightly floured board.
  • Cut out with round cutter or shape into 1 1/2-inch balls. Place close together on greased pan (muffin pan).
  • Let stand in greased pan about 3 hours or until doubled.
  • Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
