Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 rounded Tbsp. flour
  • 2 rounded Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 rounded Tbsp. butter
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 pie shell, baked

Method

  • Mix flour, sugar and cocoa in small bowl until well blended. Melt butter in iron skillet. Add dry ingredients in butter and mix. Beat egg yolk until lemon-colored. Add milk to eggs and beat together. Add egg mixture to ingredients in skillet gradually while stirring constantly. Cool slowly. Add vanilla. Pour into cooled pie shell.
