Ingredients
- 1 pound Packaged Gnocchi (Potato)
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/4 cups Parmesan Cheese, Freshly Grated
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Chopped Flat Leaf Parsley To Garnish (optional)
Method
- 1. Cook the gnocchi according to the package directions.
- 2. While the gnocchi is cooking, add the olive oil and butter to a 10" skillet over medium/ high heat.
- 3. When the gnocchi is cooked, scoop out with a spider or slotted spoon and add directly to the melted olive oil and butter mixture.
- 4. Pan fry the gnocchi, lightly tossing half way through, taking care not to break it. This only takes a couple of minutes, you are looking for a light golden color. Don't cook them too long or they will be hard. Season with a little salt and pepper, if desired.
- 5. Drain with a slotted spoon and place on a platter. Immediately top with the grated Parmesan cheese, garnish with flat leaf parsley (optional) and serve.
