Ingredients
- 1 medium head broccoli, cut in bite size pieces
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 c. white wine or chicken broth
- salt and pepper to taste
- 12 oz. pasta
- grated cheese for topping
Method
- Cook pasta as directed on package.
- Melt butter in olive oil. Saute onion until translucent.
- Add garlic; simmer 1 minute.
- Add broccoli and wine or broth; simmer 3 minutes.
- In a large bowl mix pasta with mixture.
- Toss well.
- Serve immediately with grated cheese for topping.
