Ingredients
- 1 c. creamery butter
- 1 2/3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 1/2 c. pecans
- 1 1/2 c. English walnuts
- 1 lb. candied cherries, halved
- 4 oz. can flaked coconut
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
- Add flour and vanilla.
- Stir in cherries, coconut and nuts.
- Grease a tube pan and line bottom with brown paper.
- Bake at 250° for 3 hours and 15 minutes.
