Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. roasted peanuts, chopped

Method

  • Cream butter and peanut butter together.
  • Gradually add sugars until they are blended.
  • Add eggs and beat until smooth.
  • Sift together flour and soda; add to mixture.
  • Stir in chocolate chips and peanuts.
  • Drop by teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with a glass.
  • Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
