Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. Uncle Ben's rice (not Minute rice)
  • 1 can Campbell's French onion soup, diluted with 1 can water
  • 1/2 c. very fine egg noodles, uncooked
  • 1/2 stick oleo

Method

  • Place oleo in saucepan and brown uncooked noodles until light golden brown.
  • Pour in soup, water and rice.
  • Bring to boil and simmer about 20 minutes or until rice is tender and moisture evaporated.
  • You may have to add some water before rice is tender, so watch for that near the end of cooking time.
