Ingredients
- 4 c. sliced, peeled tart apples
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 4 lean pork cutlets or chops (about 1 lb.), cut 3/4-inch thick
- 1/2 c. Italian bread crumbs
Method
- Place apples in well-greased baking dish (8-inch square).
- Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; sprinkle over apples.
- Coat pork with bread crumbs.
- Arrange pork over apples.
- Bake, uncovered, at 400° for about 50 minutes.
