Ingredients

  • 1 (2 lb bag) shredded hash browns
  • 1 (10 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 (8 oz) sour cream
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine
  • 1 (8 oz) sharp cheddar cheese
  • crushed corn flakes

Method

  • Mix all ingredients except corn flakes.
  • Pour into a 9x13 inch casserole dish and top with crushed corn flakes.
  • Pour margarine over top.
  • Bake uncovered at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
  • A few dashes of tabasco sauce gives it some spice.
