Ingredients
- 2 c. crushed pretzels
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine or butter
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 small carton Cool Whip at room temperature
- 1 large pkg. strawberry jello
- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
Method
- Melt butter in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan, mix pretzels in and pat in bottom of pan.
- Bake ten minutes in 350° oven.
- Let cool. While cooling, mix with mixer the cream cheese, sugar and Cool Whip.
- Spread on top of pretzel crust and chill.
- Mix strawberry jello with 2 cups boiling water, then add frozen strawberries and drained crushed pineapple.
- Mix and pour on top of the other two layers.
- Chill until set.
