Ingredients

  • 2 c. crushed pretzels
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine or butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 small carton Cool Whip at room temperature
  • 1 large pkg. strawberry jello
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple

Method

  • Melt butter in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan, mix pretzels in and pat in bottom of pan.
  • Bake ten minutes in 350° oven.
  • Let cool. While cooling, mix with mixer the cream cheese, sugar and Cool Whip.
  • Spread on top of pretzel crust and chill.
  • Mix strawberry jello with 2 cups boiling water, then add frozen strawberries and drained crushed pineapple.
  • Mix and pour on top of the other two layers.
  • Chill until set.
