Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 1/2 c. warm water
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 2 eggs (room temperature)
- 8 to 8 1/2 c. white flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Warm bowl.
- Add water and dissolve yeast.
- Add warm butter, sugar, eggs, 4 cups flour and salt.
- Mix until shiny and free of lumps.
- Gradually add remaining flour.
- Put in large bowl.
- Cover tightly with plastic wrap.
- Put in refrigerator for 8 to 10 hours (or up to 2 to 3 days).
