Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 slices bread, without crust
  • 1 lb. Rice's medium sausage
  • 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. mushrooms
  • 1 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. dried mustard
  • 6 eggs
  • salt and pepper

Method

  • Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Lay bread in the bottom.
  • Cook sausage and drain.
  • Place over bread.
  • Layer cheese over sausage, then mushrooms.
  • Mix milk and eggs.
  • Beat thoroughly.
  • Mix in remaining ingredients.
  • Pour mixture over all.
  • Let set overnight in refrigerator.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
