Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3 1/2 c. Cool Whip whipped topping
- 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 1/2 c. peeled, chopped apple
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 1/3 c. walnut pieces
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
Method
- Grease a
- x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs with a fork.
- Gently fold in next 3 ingredients, 1/4 cup
- of the
- corn
- syrup,
- and
- the cinnamon and nutmeg until blended. Spread
- evenly
- in
- pan.
- Mix
- remaining corn syrup, walnut pieces and margarine.
- Spoon evenly over batter.
- Bake in a
- 350° oven for 45 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
- Cool in pan.
