Ingredients
- 1 pt. oysters
- 6 tsp. cream and oyster liquor
- 1 1/2 c. coarse cracker crumbs
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 c. melted butter
Method
- Pick over oysters and drain.
- Grease a baking dish and cover with a third of the cracker crumbs.
- Cover with half the oysters and season.
- Add half the oyster liquor and cream mixture.
- Repeat. Cover the top with remaining crumbs.
- Pour melted butter over all. Bake at 400° for about 30 minutes.
- Serves 6.
