Ingredients
- 1 large loaf sliced white sandwich bread
- butter
- 1 large onion, minced
- 4 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
- 1 can crab (6 to 7 1/2 oz.)
- 2 small cans shrimp, drained
- 1 c. celery, finely cut
- 3 c. mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Cut crust from bread and spread lightly with butter.
- Cut into small cubes so each slice is at least 20 cubes.
- Frozen bread cuts best.
- Add onions and eggs.
- Mix, cover and refrigerate overnight.
