Ingredients
- 1 milkfish (bangus)
- 1 bunch mustard greens
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 3 medium size tomatoes, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 2 c. water
- fish sauce (patis) to taste
- 1/2 c. miso
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
Method
- Clean and cut fish into 5 to 6 pieces.
- Wash mustard greens and cut in half.
- Saute garlic, onion and tomatoes in hot oil until mushy; add miso sauce and patis.
- Simmer 3 to 5 minutes. Add milkfish and 2 cups water; bring to a boil (boil about 10 minutes).
- Add mustard greens and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in lemon juice.
- Add patis, if desired.
- Remove from heat.
- Serve hot.
