Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Uncle Ben's converted enriched parboiled rice
- 2 lb. ground pork
- 2 lb. hamburg
- 3 eggs
- 1 large head cabbage
- 48 oz. can tomato juice
- 6 lb. 10 oz. can tomato sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- garlic powder and onion powder to taste
Method
- Fully cook rice and let stand and cool down.
- Combine ground meat, rice, eggs and seasoning.
- Mix well.
- Core cabbage and parboil.
- Peel off each leaf with 2 forks.
- Take a handful of the combined mixture.
- Place the mixture to the back of the cabbage leaf; roll until the mixture is covered by the leaf, then fold the sides in and finish the roll.
