Ingredients

  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. Herman Sourdough Starter
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil

Method

  • Mix dry ingredients, mixing well.
  • Stir in Sourdough Starter and oil.
  • Turn dough out on a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic (about 8 to 10 minutes).
  • Shape dough into 2-inch balls.
  • Cover and let rise in a warm place (85°) free from drafts for about 30 minutes.
  • Bake at 425° for 15 to 17 minutes. It yields 15 rolls.
