Ingredients

  • 3 lb. pork roast
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. wine vinegar
  • 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
  • 1 onion
  • pepper (optional)
  • no salt

Method

  • Roast the pork for 2 hours at 350°.
  • Remove and cut up into small pieces (remove any fat).
  • Add can of tomato soup.
  • Cut up onion and add it.
  • Mix the brown sugar, wine vinegar and barbecue sauce (to taste).
  • Stir all ingredients.
  • Bake for 2 hours in covered casserole dish at 325° to 350°.
  • When done, mash with potato masher.
  • Serve with cole slaw on large warm buns (optional).
