Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 eggs
  • 8 ounces ragu pasta sauce 1 lb. 8 oz., Old World Style(R)
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces spaghetti, cook and drain

Method

  • In medium bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs and egg; shape into 12 meatballs.
  • In 3-quart saucepan, bring Pasta Sauce to a boil over medium-high heat. Gently stir in uncooked meatballs. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes or until meatballs are done.
  • Fill 4 banana split dishes 1/2 full with spaghetti. Pour heated Sauce over spaghetti, arranging three meatballs on top. Top, if desired, with additional grated Parmesan cheese and cherry tomatoes.
